Can homosexuality be reversed?
It is my experience that in general it is not possible to reverse it. Especially not with men.
It is my observation that with women it is sometimes possible. However, in my therapeutic practice I have seen quite a number of exceptions. Especially when a child is still young. For instance I remember a participant in one of my seminars who had a four year old son.
When she was setting up her nuclear family, she chose a woman to represent her son. Here you can see that the mother is already confused with regard to the sexual identity of her son. I then said to her, "This child could turn homosexual." And she didn't respond to that.
Seven years later she came to my seminar and asked, "Do you remember me? I am the woman to whom you said your son could turn homosexual. I want to share with you what happened after the seminar. When I came home my son asked me,' Momma where have you been?' and I told him, ' in a seminar.' To which my son responded, ' what happened there?' I told him, 'There was a man who talked about life' and my son persisted, 'so what did he say?' I answered, 'this man said that every child has a father, a mother and four grandparents.'
My son broke out in to a big smile and said,' Now we're going to have a feast for them.' And he set the table for all the family members and during the meal we were imagining that they were all there and celebrating with us. A few days later I found my son at the top of the staircase holding girls clothes in his hands. I hadn't told you back then that my son loved dressing up in girls clothes. He came down to me and said,' Mom now we can give these clothes back to the girls.' "
All right so much for this example from my practice.
